Whether you need to report on work completed or actual payments received, Spraye offers a few ways to pull your total revenue for the year.
To get started, first determine which type of revenue you are trying to calculate: Produced Revenue (work completed) or Collected Revenue (actual payments received).
1. Generating "Produced Revenue"
Produced revenue reflects the total value of services performed during the year, regardless of whether the customer has paid yet.
You can pull this data using either of the following methods:
Method A: Technician Efficiency Report
- Best for: A quick, built-in view of work completed by your team.
- How to run it:
1. Navigate to your Reports tab.
2. Select the Technician Efficiency Report.
3. Set your date range to cover the desired year (e.g.,01/01/2025 – 12/31/2025).
4. View the total produced revenue generated across your technicians.
Method B: Completed Service Log (CSV/Excel Export)
- Best for: Custom filtering, detailed line-item analysis, or advanced reporting.
- How to run it:
1. Navigate to your Completed Service Log.
2. Filter the date range for the entire year.
3. Download the log as a CSV file by clicking on the CSV Download button.
4. Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets to sum your Invoice Amount, Billed Amount and Sales Tax columns.
2. Generating "Collected Revenue"
Collected revenue reflects the actual dollars received in your bank account or payment processor during the year.
- Best Report to Use: Revenue by Service Type Report
- How to run it:
1. Go to your Reports tab.
2. Select Revenue by Service Type.
3. Set your date range to the desired calendar year.
4. Review the totals to see your actual collections broken down by service.
