When weather conditions (such as severe drought) prevent you from completing a service like a weed spray application for certain properties, you may need to temporarily hold those jobs while moving forward with your next round (e.g., granular fertilizer).
This guide walks you through holding delayed jobs, completing single applications for unaffected properties, and efficiently scheduling combined ("double") applications when conditions improve.
Step 1: Temporarily Hold the Delayed Application
- Schedule the dry or untreated properties out to a future date (e.g., mid-to-late August) to remove them from your active daily scheduling view.
- Complete all remaining, ready-to-treat properties for your current application round.
- Once all standard properties are finished, move the held jobs back to the Unscheduled Services list.
Step 2: Schedule the Next Round for Unaffected Properties
To schedule your next application round (e.g., Round 4) only for properties that do not have a pending prior application (e.g., Round 3):
- Go to your Scheduling / Unscheduled Services page.
- Under Filter Services, select the upcoming round (e.g., Round 4).
- Under Properties WITHOUT Outstanding Services, select the delayed round (e.g., Round 3).
Result: This filters your list to display only properties ready for the new application that are not waiting on the delayed application.
Step 3: Schedule Combined ("Double") Applications
When weather conditions improve and you are ready to complete both applications (e.g., Round 3 and Round 4) together in a single visit:
- Go to your Scheduling / Unscheduled Services page.
- Under Filter Services, select both rounds (e.g., Round 3 and Round 4).
- Under Properties WITH Outstanding Services, select both rounds (e.g., Round 3 and Round 4).
Result: This isolates all properties that currently require both services, allowing you to route and schedule them together seamlessly.
