When a customer accepts a proposal but initially skips optional add-ons (such as aeration or seeding), you may need to check the original pricing later if they decide to add those services to their plan.
This guide walks you through how to safely view previously quoted prices for optional items without altering or re-sending the original estimate.
How to Find Previously Quoted Optional Pricing
- Navigate to the Estimates -> Interactive Estimates page in your account.
- Click directly on the Estimate Number for the customer’s quote (this opens the estimate as if you were going to edit it).
- Click through the estimate steps to reach the section containing the Optional Services.
- Check the Price Overrides section for those optional items to view the exact amounts previously quoted.
- Exit without saving: Take note of the prices, then close or navigate away from the page without saving changes or re-sending the quote to the customer.
Next Steps
Once you have retrieved the original pricing, navigate to the customer's profile and use the Add Standalone Service feature to manually add the service(s) at the quoted rate.
Note: Opening an interactive estimate to check prices will not automatically alert or re-email the customer as long as you do not attempt to click Save or Send.
