When notifications are dynamically generated and sent to customers, certain critical safety parameters must stand out clearly. Because field users cannot manually format text within dynamically populated data tags, the system applies built-in visual overrides to ensure compliance and visibility.
The primary focus of this formatting constraint is the Re-Entry Time field.
Built-In Visual Design Default
To ensure safety instructions are never overlooked by the property owner, the Re-Entry Time line is hardcoded with prominent default styling.
When the notification template generates an email:
- Bold Typography: The entire text string containing the scheduled re-entry time is set to bold by default.
- Line Highlighting: The specific line item containing this data is visually highlighted or isolated within the message layout to separate it from standard service descriptions.
Why is this Restricted?
- Zero User Formatting Needed: Technicians and dispatchers do not need to worry about manually changing text colors, sizes, or weights when typing notes or logging a service.
- Template Integrity: Preventing inline formatting adjustments ensures that critical data renders perfectly across all email clients (such as Outlook, Gmail, and mobile screens) without breaking layout bounds.
