When planning a scheduling round, you may want to skip properties that recently received a service from a completely different application.
Because the Last Service Type Date filter in Spraye looks at individual service types, the best workaround is to temporarily group both applications under the same Service Type. This forces the scheduling screen to look at the combined service history for both applications before pulling up properties to schedule.
Follow the step-by-step process below to execute this workaround.
Step 1: Create a Temporary Service Type (If Needed)
If you don't already have a shared Service Type you want to use, create a temporary one.
- Navigate to your Settings page.
- Scroll to the Service Types section.
- Click to add a new service type (e.g., "Temporary Filter Group").
Step 2: Update the Services Temporarily
Next, assign both of the conflicting services to this single Service Type.
- Navigate to the main Services page.
- Locate the first service (the one you want to schedule) and click Edit.
- Change its Service Name Type to your shared/temporary service type. Click Submit to Save.
- Locate the second service (the one you want to avoid overlapping with) and click Edit.
- Change its Service Name Type to the same shared/temporary service type. Click Submit to Save.
Step 3: Filter and Schedule via Unscheduled Services
Now that both services share a type history, you can filter them out based on the timeline of the last application.
- Open the Unscheduled Services map view.
- Apply the filter for Last Service Type Date and enter the specific number of days you want to elapsed (e.g., if you want to skip anyone who had either service in the last 30 days).
- The system will now hide any accounts that have had either application completed within that timeframe.
- Select your properties and schedule your round.
Step 4: Revert Your Service Settings
Once your services are successfully scheduled and on the route planner, remember to restore your original service types to keep your standard reporting accurate.
- Return to the Services page.
- Edit both services and change their Service Name Type back to their original, permanent settings.
