This article outlines how technicians can access full service pricing and view outstanding services directly from the mobile technician view for a property. It also explains how administrators can manage this visibility globally.

1. Accessing the Service Pricing List (Tech View)

To help technicians easily answer customer pricing questions in the field, the full company price list is accessible directly from the property screen.

  • Where to find it: This is located in the upper right hand corner of the  technician's screen.
  • Open the price list: Click the Service Price List button.
  • How it looks: It mirrors the Service Pricing tab found on the office-side Property Profile. To save screen space, it is housed in a compact, scrollable, and expandable accordion menu or pop-up modal.
  • Permissions: This list is strictly read-only for technicians and cannot be edited from the field.

2. Viewing Outstanding Services

Technicians can also view a dedicated section showing any services that have been scheduled but not yet completed for that specific property.

  • Where to find it: Accessible via a accordion section named Outstanding Services within the technician view.
  • What it displays: It functions similarly to the services tab on the desktop customer/property screen, showing the Service Name, Program Name, Completion Status and Price.
  • Filtering: This section dynamically filters out past data, meaning completed services will not be displayed.

3. Administrative Control: Global Settings

The ability for technicians to see financial and pricing data is controlled by a global administrative setting. If your company prefers to keep pricing hidden from field technicians, this feature can be disabled.

How to toggle the pricing view On or Off:

  1. Navigate to your Settings menu.
  2. Select Technician Settings.
  3. Locate the toggle labeled: Show service pricing on technician screen.

When enabled, pricing will be visible to technicians in three places:

  • The Service Price List button.
  • The Cost field within the Service Details section.
  • The Cost column within the Outstanding Services section.

When disabled, pricing will be hidden to technicians in these three places.
