If scheduled jobs appear correctly on your Spraye dashboard calendar but are missing from the Technicians printed daily schedules, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
Cause
This usually happens when new jobs are inadvertently assigned to a duplicate, secondary route. When adding services for the day, the system may default to "Create New Route." If you type the name of your usual route, autofill will complete it, making it look identical on your dashboard. However, the system treats this as a completely separate, second route for the same day. When you print the original crew route, the jobs assigned to that accidental second route will be left off the printout.
How to Fix and Prevent This
1. Check for Duplicate Routes
Before printing, verify if a duplicate route was accidentally created for that day:
- Navigate to your Routing/Scheduling dashboard.
- Look closely at the route list for that specific date.
- Check if the same crew or route name appears twice (e.g., two routes named "Route A" or "East Crew"). If you see a second route with just 1 or 2 jobs on it, those are your missing stops.
2. The Right Way to Add Jobs to a Schedule
To ensure all jobs stay on a single, consolidated printout, follow these steps when adding a service to an active day:
- Select the Correct Option: When scheduling the service, look for the route selection setting.
- Choose "Existing Route": Always select Existing Route from the dropdown menu instead of "Create New Route."
- Select the Route Name: Choose the active route from the list. This ensures the job is safely added to the bottom of the crew's current itinerary rather than spinning up a separate route sheet.
Quick Tip: Always double-check your total stop counts on the main scheduling page before printing to ensure it matches the number of stops on the physical paperwork!
