Performing follow-up calls after a customer's very first service is an excellent way to ensure satisfaction and boost retention. In Spraye, there are two effective ways to identify which new customers have just received their first service.
Method 1: The "New Customer" Invoice Filter (Recommended)
Spraye automatically applies a native New Customer tag to a client's profile when they are first created. This tag is designed to automatically fall off the account as soon as their first service is marked as completed.
Because of this built-in logic, you can easily track down these first-time services using your invoice list:
- Navigate to your Invoices page.
- Filter the invoice table by the New Customer tag and set the status to Active or Completed depending on your workflow.
- Any invoice appearing with this tag represents the absolute first service for that customer.
- Use this list to pull your phone numbers and make your weekly follow-up calls.
Method 2: Cross-Referencing the Marketing Report
If you prefer to audit your data by when the customer signed up versus when they were treated, you can use the built-in data reports:
- Navigate to Reports > Marketing/Customer Data Report.
- Filter the report by the specific Date Range your new program was assigned to find your recent sign-ups.
- Next, open your Completed Service Log for that same date range.
- Cross-reference the two lists to see which of those newly assigned customers have officially had their first service completed.
Summary
| Strategy | Best For | How it Works |
|---|---|---|
| Invoice Tag Filter | Quick, weekly call lists | Finds invoices still holding the temporary "New Customer" tag. |
| Marketing Report Cross-Reference | Deep-dive data auditing | Matches newly assigned program dates against completed logs. |
Pro Tip: Method 1 is the fastest workflow for front-office teams. Checking the "New Customer" tag on invoices weekly ensures no brand-new client slips through the cracks before the tag automatically disappears.
