Adding Product Notes or Service-Specific Instructions to Service Completion Emails
This video explains how to include product-related notes, re-entry instructions, or service-specific post-service instructions in your Service Completion Email template.
There are two main ways to add this information:
Use the Additional Info dynamic field
The Additional Info section can include selected compliance, product, and service details in service completion emails. Within your email settings, you can choose which fields should be included. One important option is the Re-entry Time field, which pulls information from the product setup page. This is a helpful place to add product-specific instructions or important notes customers should see after a service is completed.Use the Service Notes dynamic field
Service Notes are added directly to each service in your account. These notes are different from the service description, which appears on invoices and estimates. Service Notes only appear in the Service Completion Email when the Service Notes dynamic field is included in the template. This is a great place to add instructions or reminders that apply to a specific service or to the products associated with that service.
To set this up, go to Settings from your avatar menu, scroll to the Automated Emails and Text Messaging section, and open the Service Completion Email template. From there, you can add the appropriate dynamic fields, such as Additional Info and Service Notes, to control what customers receive after a service is completed.
Remember to click the nearest Submit button after making changes so your updates are saved.
