In Spraye, these two notification types operate independently. Service completion emails are controlled by a dedicated, separate slider located further down on the billing profile page. 


Adjusting, turning off, or modifying your Pre-Service Notification settings will have no effect on your service completion notifications, as long as the service completion slider is toggled on.


How it Works:


Pre-Service Notifications

These settings dictate how and when a customer is notified before a technician arrives at their property (e.g., automated 24-hour day-before reminders via email or text).


Service Completion Emails

This function dictates the automated summary or invoice email sent to the customer immediately after a technician completes a job in the field.


⚠️ Key Rule

The Service Completion Email toggle acts as an independent master switch for post-service updates. If this slider is turned ON, customers will continue to receive emails when jobs are finished, regardless of whether you have enabled or disabled Pre-Service Notifications.


How to Locate and Toggle the Settings

To ensure your customers are receiving (or not receiving) post-service updates:

  1. Navigate to the relevant Billing Profile or Global Notification Settings area in your dashboard.
  2. Scroll past the primary section dedicated to Pre-Service Notifications.
  3. Locate the distinct Service Completion Email slider directly below that area.
  4. Toggle the slider ON to ensure post-service emails are sent, or OFF if you wish to suppress them.


Troubleshooting FAQ

  • I turned off Pre-Service Notifications, so why did my customer still get an email after their lawn was treated? Because the Service Completion Email slider is located in a separate area below the Pre-Service settings. It must be turned off independently if you do not want post-service emails to go out.
  • Can I keep Pre-Service texts active but turn off post-service completion emails? Yes. Because they are controlled by separate toggles, you can customize the exact combination of before-and-after notifications that your clients receive.
