Overview

By default, the system displays programs and services in the order they were added. You have the ability to reorder these items for each specific category (Packages, Non-Packages, etc.) within the Estimate Builder and the Template Editor.


How to Set the Display Order

You can customize the sequence directly in the selection area of your Estimate or Template.


In the Estimate Builder

  1. Navigate to the section where you select your Programs or Services (e.g., the "Packages" or "Non-Packages" area).

  2. Once you have selected the items you wish to include, look at the list box directly beneath the selection dropdown.

  3. Drag and Drop: Click and hold the item to move the program or service up or down the list.

  4. The order you set here is the order in which they will appear on the customer-facing estimate.


In Estimate Templates

To save time on future estimates, you can set a permanent display order within your templates:

  1. Open an Estimate Template.

  2. Select the services or packages you want to include in the template.

  3. In the box below the selection tool, arrange the items in your preferred order.

  4. Save the template. Any estimate created from this template will now mirror that exact sequence.


Why Customize Your Display Order?

  • Strategic Pricing: Place your "Best Value" or "Premium" packages at the top to draw immediate attention.

  • Logical Flow: Group similar services together (e.g., putting all "Lawn Care" services before "Pest Control" services) to make the estimate easier for the customer to read.

  • Standardization: Ensure every sales representative presents options in a consistent, company-approved sequence by setting the order at the template level.


Frequently Asked Questions

Does reordering packages also reorder the services inside them? This feature controls the order of the Programs/Packages themselves. The internal order of services within a single program is determined by the Program's settings.

Will this change the order on printed (Legacy) estimates? Yes. The order you set in the interactive builder will carry over to the converted Legacy Estimate and any printed PDFs to ensure consistency across all formats.


Pro-Tip

If you find yourself manually reordering the same items on every estimate, update your Estimate Template. Setting the order once in the template editor eliminates the need for manual adjustments during the sales process.
