The Customer Credit Report is used to track and manage monetary credits tied to your customers' accounts.
When a customer overpays an invoice, makes an advance prepayment for future services, or receives a manual account credit, that financial data is logged and tracked within this specific report.
Here is a breakdown of what the Customer Credit Report allows you to do:
Core Functions of the Credit Report
Track Unused Funds: It provides a centralized list of all customers who have a credit history with your business, allowing you to monitor advance payments, bulk payments, or overpayments.
View Available Balances: Thanks to recent updates, the report features a Current Credit Balance column. This allows you to quickly sort and identify exactly which customers currently have active, available funds sitting on their account.
Monitor Credit Application: In Spraye, account credits are automatically applied to unpaid, sent invoices (or newly sent invoices) until the credit is completely depleted. The Credit Report helps you monitor these balances as they are consumed by your services.
Accessing the Credit Report
Log into your dashboard.
Navigate to your Reports section and select "Credit Report" from the menu.
Alternatively, you can access the report directly using this link: Credit Report Dashboard.
The "Current Credit Balance" Column
When viewing the Credit Report, you will see a column labeled Current Credit Balance.
This column gives you a real-time view of the exact available credit amount currently tied to each customer's account.
How to Find Customers with Active Balances
If you want to view only the customers who currently have a credit balance, you can easily sort the report using the w column headers.
Sort by Balance: Simply click the header of the Current Credit Balance column.
Clicking this header will reorder the list, allowing you to quickly bring all customers with a positive available balance to the top of the page so you can focus only on accounts with active credit.
