SCENARIO: If you want to create a way to accommodate special situations for customers who might want to have only part of their yard treated for certain services you offer, you can use Property Zones to accomplish this.  See steps below for how to set this up.


1. First we would create a Property zone for each service that could possibly be done on only part of the yard in your global settings.

2. Then you would need to associate each service with the corresponding property zone on the Services screen.

3. Then if you have special services for any customer where they want only a certain part of the yard done, you can enter the square feet amount that they want done in that property zone field on the customer’s property profile screen to specify that for that service they will only get billed for that specified square footage amount.

4. We recommend to then use service specific notes or alerts for noting these special cases for which part of the yard needs treated so it’s clear on the tech screen at the stop. You can also use tags if that customer will always get only that part of the yard treated (i.e. "Front Yard Only").
